Located in one of the most central and emblematic streets of the city, our apartments combine the old style of Porto’s buildings with all the amenities of today. In a completely renovating approach from the point of view of facilities and equipment, the architecture was preserved so that the experience of our centenary house would not be diminished. The building is centenary, has 5 floors and does not have an elevator. The superior studios have street/city views and the studios with balcony overlook the inner courtyard. Our accommodation, as advertised, does not have a reception, and check-in is done independently.

Francisco Marques de Sousa Viterbo was an archaeologist, historian, journalist, chronicler, critic and philosopher. This street, existing since at least 1372, according to documents found, connected the city center to the Douro River and was characterized by being narrow, full of doors and houses and home to the craft of many shoemakers.
